The Shield
This heraldry shape is designed as a star or compass rose, one that has served to sailor mans or explorers to get orientate for the world. Four of his cardinal edges are mixed with the institutional colours, red and white. In the three cardinal edges mixed and lowers you can read the institutional values: freedom, wisdom, solidarity. Inside the star is located an outlined oval by the name of the institution and the middle of the oval is traversed by the Colombia and Antioquia flags, top symbols of our homeland identity crowned by a black horn torch and yellow flame, as a symbol of the knowledge that being crowned, fill us of the triumph of life.
